The Romantic Blouse is another 1980's piece that has been modernized to the 21st century. Remember seeing those big poofy tops in Prince videos and concerts from back in the day? Yeah. Well. They're here again, but some of them are kinda cute. Check out the tops on Bree (from America's Next Top Model) and Ciara. A little bit of ruffled tiers and shiny satin looks good on them. But some Romantic Blouses are too much. Kelly Rowland's is too bulky and non- flattering. I think this is a cute trend if done right. Don't have too many ruffles and buttons because you don't want to look too costumey (you know what I mean)

Aviator sunglasses? Seriously? I cannot believe that these sunglasses have come back! I'm ready for the 80's to leave 2006. ¡NO ME GUSTAN MUCHA!

Oh well, they're here now and almost everyone on Hollywood's hot list is wearing them. Jessica Simpson, Gwen Stefani, Rachel Bilson, and Jennifer Aniston are wearing these military fashions. The guys are sporting them too! Why do people want to make the military stylish? I guess the designers need to be inspired by something. Sorry I'm being so cranky, but I really don't like these glasses and I am really dissappointed in this trend. Aviator sunglasses should stay on the faces of the pilots of the U.S. Air Force. I got's ta go!

Season To Be Pretty In Pink

Pink is the color of summer 2006. Not all of the pink family is a part of this trend though. Very light, feminine, lingerie pinks are whats in. The style experts have done well with this one. Last season's color was white, the color of innocence and light pink is not far behind that. When I think of the caracteristics of light pink, sweet, nice, and pretty come to mind. With all of the celebrity fueding going on, fashion wants us to take sides. Team Jessica and Team Nick shirts want us to decide who we feel more sorry for. I pick Nick! Team Heather and Team Denise shirts want us to decide if Denise is wrong for dating Heather's husband. I pick Heather! Team Aniston and Team Jolie shirts wants us to decide if Angelina was wrong for seducing Brad on the Mr. and Mrs. Smith movie set. I pick Aniston! And Team Paris and Team Nicole shirts want us to... I don't know actually. I'm on Team Paris for now, because everything I've heard so far looks like Nicole is at fault. I think Nicole has the better personality, but she seems to have some serious issues right now. Anyways, these shirts are selling at trendy L.A. and New York stores, like Kitson. Royal blue is out and natural is in. The colors of the second are variations of brown and white. White is a good spring time color. With all of the new plants growing and everything being new , it represents cleanliness and innocence. Ivory is more earthy and represents a calmness. Brown is the earth color. Beige is a mix of white and brown which represents the same meanings of all the natural colors together. It is an excellent background color. Brown accessories are perfect for just about every outfit. They fit with every color.

Don't overdose on these natural colors. They are used to enhance colors to make them brighter and stand out better. So sorry for the delay. It's been a busy week. But I'm back to speak on the hottest fashion trends and I have to say that one of my favorite trends for the season is the artsy and sporty t-shirt. It's like the guy t-shirt made girly. My favorites are Juicy Couture, Lacoste, and French Connection. I'm not talking about the tacky self-esteem shirts or the one's with trashy phrases. A t-shirt is one of the most easiest ways to express individual style. You can't dress up an artsy t-shirt, but they look the best with any denim and are as comfortable as it can get. Paz!

Jungle Fever Part II

Last summer, tunics were the big trend. Old navy had some of the best ones for the low. Well, the tunic is one of the repeat trends this season. So, you can still wear yours from last year. But if you want to have the absolute most up-to-date style, a safari print tunic will put you there. Tunics are flattering and a jungle print will have you in the most recent style.

Beads are part of the safari trnd also. Bead- embellished tops are popular, because you can wear them as a bohemian- look too. Beads are lightweight, comfortable and affordable. I don't think this is a lasting style, but it's cute for now. See ya when I see ya!

Jungle Fever

Hey Everybody!

Be the most stylish person in the jungle, in the desert, or in your city. Out of the 1980's with leggings and gladiator shoes, the safari-look has arrived. The trence coat was so popular this season, that the shorter, polished, similar- looking safari jacket crept into our favorite stores too. I'm glad that there are so many trends this season so that we can pick and choose what we like. Even though the 80's was the ugliest fashion decade ever, the designers tody, have done a good job on updating and modernizing the styles of that hideous time. Pues, I'll talk to ya'll tarde.
