Sweater Dresses

I love the comfortable look of sweater dresses. I even like the look with the leggings in the one above.(A little) I didn't understand a lot of the fall fashions in the beginning, but now I think I understand the creativity. Most of the looks this season are updated past looks. It was the same for the spring and summer season too, but not with the elegance of this fall season. A lot of current looks are very classy.

Product of the Week:

One of my favorite products is Vaseline Intensive Care Moisturizing Bath Beads. It's been around for a long time, and it's consistent. It's still the same formula from when I remember my mom using it over 10 years ago. It has a great smell, is very moisturizing, and doesn't leave a ring around the tub. It's super cheap at any drug store (under $2) and you can get it in Botanical Garden scent, Soft Petal scent, or my favorite, Gentle Breeze Scent. Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Arm Warmers

Hey!

I do not like leg warmers, but some arm warmers are cute. I would have worn these a lot in high school when I only wore short sleeves. My grandma would really be annoyed. (Hi Gran!) I used to hate wearing jackets and sweaters. I'm still sort of the same. I think I might get a pair.

Crochet Handbags

Hola!

I like crochet handbags. They're easy to find and a lot of them are cheap. I love carrying bags that I don't have to really take care of. The cheap ones are cute too. You can be reckless with a bag and buy another for around $14.99
at a place like Target or Walmart. You might not want to be reckless with these bags pictured because they cost a pretty penny.

Product of the Week:

I got my eyebrows done for the first time in March of this year. Compared to when most girls start getting their eyebrows done, I'm about 7 or 8 years late. I never used to see a point in it and I felt that I didn't have the time to keep them 'tamed'. When I got out of that chair and saw what I looked like, I couldn't believe the change. Now, I will never let my eyebrows look the way they once did. I still don't have time to actually go and get them done on a regular basis, but I keep them up looking good at home with tweezers and Sally Hansen Creme Hair Remover. It's like Nair for the face. I'm not good with wax and I feel like I have more control with the cream. I recommend!

Baby Doll Dresses

Que Pasa

Summer clothes are still in effect for the Fall, (almost Winter) season.
People are still wearing baby doll dresses. The empire waist on these dresses are very flattering, but it's cold now. This is the wrong season for showing off your legs.

Since everyone is wearing these short clothes, please keep yourself from getting sick by wearing them with leggings, tights, jeans, or over-the-knee boots.

Over the Knee Boot

Hola

I can understand that with all the short short skirts, short short shorts, and knee length dresses and shirts, that the legs feel abandoned. I understand that accessory and shoe designers feel a need to help intensify this short trend. And, I also understand that consumers don't really know what shoes to wear with these trends.

The shoe people have decided to give us the over- the- knee boot.

I love boots, but this look is too much for me. I think these outfits would work just fine with at-the-knee boots. I know, I know, it's cold outside now and we need to stay warm in our short clothes. That's why the designers gave us leggings, and skinny jeans to wear. For those of us that like the above- the- knee clothing, but don't like leggings, and skinny jeans, we have tights and regular jeans.

Over-the-knee boots are an over kill for me and they look uncomfortable. Tell me what you think.

Tweed

Nanette Lepore

Dana Buchman

Ellen Tracy

Tweed is the classic material that needs to be in our wardrobes this season. It's warm and can be transformed from day to evening wear. It's all about tweed this fall from accessories, to blazers, to shoes. It can go into the 'Secretary Look' category, or you can wear tweed in different colors and pair it with skirts or jeans.

Tweed isn't as heavy as it used to be so it's more comfortable to wear all day. And it's super elegant!

Chinese Laundry

Product of the Week:

The Product of the Week is St. Ives Apricot Scrub. I know that it's been around for a long time, but I recently discovered it a few months ago. When I forget to order my Proactive, I use St. Ives. This scrub leaves a very nice clean glow and it doesn't dry out your skin. It's so much better than bar soap. I haven't even thought about using bar soap since. I love my Dove, but it doesn't do the job like a scrub can. Scrubs pamper and exfoliate the skin leaving it smooth, glowing, and free of dead skin cells. That's why it leaves such a beautiful glow. Peace.

Cropped Fur Jackets

L.A.M.B.

Cropped jackets dress up your jeans, pants, or skirts and that's why I love this trend. Cropped jackets have been a trend for a few years, but it's all about fur this year. Faux fur is cool too. You don't have to be ashamed to wear fake fur anymore. The way I see it, there are more pros than cons to wearing faux fur instead of real fur.

Real fur is crazy expensive, it's really hard to take care of, and you might get nasty stuff thrown at you by PETA. They treat the animals at fur farms really bad and place them under terrible conditions. They are also killed in a torturous way to preserve the fur. A pro for real fur is that Vintage fur can be less expensive than faux fur.
Source

Saks Fifth Avenue

Faux fur looks just like real fur, it's affordable, and it's really easy to take care of. A con for faux fur is that it uses a lot of energy and produces a lot of pollution to create.

The best ways to wear this fur, real or fake, environment conscience and fashion conscience, is to wear it in small amounts. Fur trim on coats, hats, gloves, shoes, or hand bags. It takes less killing of animals and/or less amount of energy.
