Jumpers might just be the cutest trend to me. I love 'em. They can be layered, worn with any shoe, and they come in any print and style.

Slouched Tops

I noticed a trend in some of these loose, relaxed tops last spring. They were in bright colors and long. Some had drooped necklines, or fell off the shoulder. It was the beginning of this voluminous stage in fashion. Adding bulk to your wardrobe was huge last fall. This trend is freshly available in lighter and brighter and breezy fabrics to match the season. Honestly, the main reason that I love them is because they hide my pudge while they still flatter me.

Without exeption, the rule still applies- put volume on the top or bottom, not both. To not look too slouchy, put a belt around it to create the cinched waist. It keeps your look feminine and adds shape so that you don't look like a big colorful puff.

I told ya'll the Floral look would be here for a while. Last year, the stores and the runways were crammed with this print. When the floral season arrives, the floral season in fashion comes too. What makes it different this year is that floral print is being highlighted with the bohemian look. Forever 21 features a lot of pretty garments that focus on this look. I have been looking for some new hair shine products lately. I've been using the flat iron a little too much lately and my luster is lacking. I thought I'd try Special Effects Silk Drops. I had been eyeing it when I worked at a drugstore a while ago. While Silk Drops did absolutely nothing for me as far as shine, it was perfect for taming frizz and flyaways. I am happy with this product because I don't like to always use thick hair wax to smooth down those unruly hair pieces into shape. Silk Drops is very, very light weight.

I know that I'm late posting this trend because it's been full in bloom for a while, but oh well. The popular color(s) for the spring season are black and white. They've brought these classic colors together in florals, polka dots, stripes, and all other prints. It's sophisticated, but casual and trendy. I likes!

The Trench Coat has been modernized. Most standard trenches were below the knee and khaki. Now, we are seeing them shorter, in various materials, different colors, and crazy details (like hoods.) I know that it's still cold in some places so the cropped trench coat would work very well in those areas. Being from Wisconsin, I know that the spring is filled with a mixture of rain and snow. This coat is perfect for the unreliable weather.
